Avalon Youth Theatre is a volunteer-run musical theatre company in Wadebridge for children and teenagers, with a tremendous commitment to excellence. We put on one show a year, typically with five performances including a Saturday matinee performed at Wadebridge School over the February half term. Avalon rehearses on Monday evenings in the Wadebridge WYPAC Centre, and also on Thursday evenings and weekends as the show approaches.

We have a hard-working committee of parents who volunteer their time to make each show as professional as possible, while trying to keep costs low, making the company accessible to all. We also have a committed creative team (director, choreographer, and music director), who put countless hours into helping the children achieve their best.

Originally, Avalon was founded in the 1990s as an amateur dramatic society for all ages in the Wadebridge area, and in 1998 it evolved into the Avalon Youth Theatre, a musical theatre troupe for young people aged around 7 to 17.
